Doss finished at 6-under par 210 for the championship and clinched the win with a 35-foot eagle putt on the second playoff hole. Doss, the reigning champion, posted rounds of 71-66-73 at Koasati Pines at Coushatta. His bogey-free 66 in Friday’s second round was the difference-maker, vaulting him into the lead heading into Saturday’s final round. Goff made a hard charge with a tournament-low 65 on Saturday to tie Doss at 210 (-6), forcing a playoff. The playoff began on hole #9, where both players made routine pars. The duo then moved to hole #1, a par-5, for the second playoff hole. After Goff nearly holed out for eagle from just off the green but settled for birdie, Doss drained a dramatic 35-foot eagle putt to seal the victory. Goff’s valiant final round included seven birdies and just one bogey, earning him runner-up honors and a $200 prize. Robby McWilliams of Benton rounded out the top three at 213 (-3) after steady rounds of 73-67-73. The 54-hole championship was hosted at the renowned Koasati Pines at Coushatta, where Louisiana’s top senior amateurs faced firm conditions, a challenging layout, and perfect weather for elite competition. The Louisiana Golf Association extends its appreciation to the staff and volunteers at Koasati Pines for their exceptional hospitality and championship-level course setup. **Final Top 3 – Overall Division:** 1. **Todd Doss, Mandeville** – 71-66-73 | 210 (-6) *Won on 2nd playoff hole* 2. **Shane Goff, Broussard** – 72-73-65 | 210 (-6) 3. **Robby McWilliams, Benton** – 73-67-73 | 213 (-3) For full results and more information, visit [www.LGAgolf.org](http://www.lgagolf.org). > [          View this post on Instagram                      ](https://www.instagram.com/reel/DJPjK5KOJph/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading) > > [A post shared by Louisiana Golf Association (@lga1920)](https://www.instagram.com/reel/DJPjK5KOJph/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading)   --- #### Tag: [LGA Championships](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/lga-championships) [News](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/news) #### Share: - [Follow us on Facebook](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https://blog.lgagolf.org/36th-louisiana-senior-amateur-todd-doss-defends-his-title-as-champion) - [Follow us on Twitter](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https://blog.lgagolf.org/36th-louisiana-senior-amateur-todd-doss-defends-his-title-as-champion&text=36th%20Louisiana%20Senior%20Amateur:%20Todd%20Doss%20Defends%20His%20Title%20as%20Champion) - [Follow us on Linkedin](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https://blog.lgagolf.org/36th-louisiana-senior-amateur-todd-doss-defends-his-title-as-champion) - [Follow us on Pinterest](http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/?url=https://blog.lgagolf.org/36th-louisiana-senior-amateur-todd-doss-defends-his-title-as-champion&text=36th%20Louisiana%20Senior%20Amateur:%20Todd%20Doss%20Defends%20His%20Title%20as%20Championdescription=&media=https://23548262.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/23548262/IMG_0107-1.jpg) --- #### [Botts and Hebert Claim Division Titles at 36th Louisiana Senior Amateur Championship Previous Post](https://blog.lgagolf.org/botts-and-hebert-claim-division-titles-at-36th-louisiana-senior-amateur-championship) #### [Trolio Fires 65 to Medal at U.S. Open Local Qualifier at Koasati Pines Next Post](https://blog.lgagolf.org/trolio-fires-65-to-medal-at-u.s.-open-local-qualifier-at-koasati-pines) ### Leave a Reply --- ## Related Posts [News](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/news) [Maili Bartz](https://blog.lgagolf.org/author/maili-bartz) 18 August, 2025 #### [A Hole-in-One?
