Dial had a birdie on the par-5 14th hole to take the lead and another on the par-3 17th hole to put the tournament out of reach. These two birdies were enough to lead Dial to a two-stroke victory over the field. Noah McWilliams of Benton and Logan Batiste of Slidell take home second and third place, respectively, shooting three-over par 145 for the tournament with McWilliams taking second over Batiste in the scorecard playoff. Shreveport resident Grant Reagan takes home the 15-and-under medalist honors, shooting six-over for the tournament with a two round total of 148. Sydney Moss of Shreveport takes home the championship in the Overall Girls’ division by a wide margin over second place finisher Sarah Knight of Sterlington and third place finisher Isabella Callaba of Lake Charles. Moss shot the low round for the entire Overall Girls division, five-over 76, in her final round to put the championship out of reach. Noah Chauvin of Broussard won the Boys’ 11-13 Division while shooting the lowest round in the division, six-over-par, 77, during his first round. Chauvin road the wave of his impressive first round to win the championship by six strokes with Hudson Partin of Denham Springs taking second place in a tightly contested race. The first round of the tournament saw multiple delays due to dangerous weather situations and rainfall in the afternoon. After the delays, the first round was completed with the sunlight starting to fade at around 6:30 PM. The players grinded through a tough second round of a humid 94 degree day to finish out the tournament at East Ridge Country Club. East Ridge Country Club played to a par of 71 at approximately 6,500 yards for the Overall Boy’s division and approximately 5,500 for the Overall Girl’s and the Boy’s 11-13 division.   **[Click here](https://www.golfgenius.com/pages/2796628)** to view the final results. --- #### Tag: [LJGT](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/ljgt) [LJGT Archives](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/ljgt-archives) #### Share: - [Follow us on Facebook](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https://blog.lgagolf.org/dial-moss-and-chauvin-win-the-david-toms-junior-championship) - [Follow us on Twitter](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https://blog.lgagolf.org/dial-moss-and-chauvin-win-the-david-toms-junior-championship&text=Dial,%20Moss,%20and%20Chauvin%20Win%20the%20David%20Toms%20Junior%20Championship) - [Follow us on Linkedin](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https://blog.lgagolf.org/dial-moss-and-chauvin-win-the-david-toms-junior-championship) - [Follow us on Pinterest](http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/?url=https://blog.lgagolf.org/dial-moss-and-chauvin-win-the-david-toms-junior-championship&text=Dial,%20Moss,%20and%20Chauvin%20Win%20the%20David%20Toms%20Junior%20Championshipdescription=&media=) --- #### [Luke Haskew Wins 102nd Louisiana Amateur Championship Previous Post](https://blog.lgagolf.org/luke-haskew-wins-102nd-louisiana-amateur-championship) #### [Louisiana Junior Golf Spotlight – Riley Hnatyshyn Next Post](https://blog.lgagolf.org/louisiana-junior-golf-spotlight-riley-hnatyshyn) ### Leave a Reply --- ## Related Posts [News Archives](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/news-archives), [LJGT](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/ljgt), [LJGT Archives](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/ljgt-archives) [Admin](https://blog.lgagolf.org/author/admin) 23 March, 2024 #### [Sliman Tied for First After First Round of Lake Charles Spring Classic](https://blog.lgagolf.org/sliman-tied-for-first-after-first-round-of-lake-charles-spring-classic) March 23, 2024 | Maili Bartz [Read More](https://blog.lgagolf.org/sliman-tied-for-first-after-first-round-of-lake-charles-spring-classic) [News Archives](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/news-archives), [LJGT Archives](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/ljgt-archives) [Admin](https://blog.lgagolf.org/author/admin) 30 September, 2023 #### [Benton Boys Tied at the Top after First Round of LJGT Tour Championship](https://blog.lgagolf.org/benton-boys-tied-at-the-top-after-first-round-of-ljgt-tour-championship) September 30, 2023 – Alexandria, Louisiana [Read More](https://blog.lgagolf.org/benton-boys-tied-at-the-top-after-first-round-of-ljgt-tour-championship) [Admin](https://blog.lgagolf.org/author/admin) 16 September, 2023 [News Archives](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/news-archives), [LJGT Archives](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/ljgt-archives) #### [Team Louisiana Takes the Lead After Day One of 2023 Junior River Cup](https://blog.lgagolf.org/team-louisiana-takes-the-lead-after-day-one-of-2023-junior-river-cup) Kye Hanks and Drew Prieto analyze a tee shot from the morning round.
