Connor Cassano of Shreveport won the Boys 11-13 Division after carding a two-over par 74.  All of the competitors in the field showcased true grit by “weathering the storm” on Wednesday, and it was unfortunate that Mother Nature shortened the event.  More than five inches of rain hammered the Oakbourne golf course within a twenty-four hour span, rendering the course unplayable on Thursday.  The Dick Wilson designed Oakbourne Country Club is a tree lined shot makers course and played to a par 72 at 6,614 yards for the Overall Boys Division and 5,661 yards for the Overall Girls Division and Boys 11-13. The next LJGT event is scheduled for June 13-14 at Squire Creek Country Club in Choudrant.  --- #### Tag: [LJGT](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/ljgt) [LJGT Archives](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/ljgt-archives) [News](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/news) #### Share: - [Follow us on Facebook](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https://blog.lgagolf.org/kale-fontenot-and-liza-lapeyre-lead-louisiana-junior-golf-tour-at-oakbourne-country-club) - [Follow us on Twitter](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https://blog.lgagolf.org/kale-fontenot-and-liza-lapeyre-lead-louisiana-junior-golf-tour-at-oakbourne-country-club&text=KALE%20FONTENOT%20AND%20LIZA%20LAPEYRE%20WIN%20LOUISIANA%20JUNIOR%20GOLF%20TOUR%20AT%20OAKBOURNE%20COUNTRY%20CLUB) - [Follow us on Linkedin](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https://blog.lgagolf.org/kale-fontenot-and-liza-lapeyre-lead-louisiana-junior-golf-tour-at-oakbourne-country-club) - [Follow us on Pinterest](http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/?url=https://blog.lgagolf.org/kale-fontenot-and-liza-lapeyre-lead-louisiana-junior-golf-tour-at-oakbourne-country-club&text=KALE%20FONTENOT%20AND%20LIZA%20LAPEYRE%20WIN%20LOUISIANA%20JUNIOR%20GOLF%20TOUR%20AT%20OAKBOURNE%20COUNTRY%20CLUBdescription=Lafayette,%20Louisiana%20June%206,%202019&media=) --- #### [ROBBY MCWILLIAMS CLAIMS 30th LGA SENIOR AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP Previous Post](https://blog.lgagolf.org/robby-mcwilliams-claims-30th-lga-senior-amateur-championship) #### [USGA PJ Boatwright Intern- Conchita Stuhl’s Boatwright Orientation Recap Next Post](https://blog.lgagolf.org/usga-pj-boatwright-intern-conchita-stuhls-boatwright-orientation-recap) ### Leave a Reply --- ## Related Posts [News](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/news) [Maili Bartz](https://blog.lgagolf.org/author/maili-bartz) 18 August, 2025 #### [A Hole-in-One?
