Our October Louisiana Junior Golf Tour Player of the Month is Miss Nicasia Chase. Nicasia is from Gonzales, Louisiana and currently attends Ascension Christian High School. We got the chance to ask Nicasia some questions pertaining to her succession in golf and these were her answers!
If you could play golf with anyone in the world, who would you pick and why?
Nelly Korda. I have looked up to her since I started playing golf. She has such a beautiful swing, and she knows how to play and navigate her way around a golf course. That is something that I would like to achieve in my golf game.
What is your favorite memory from playing golf?
My favorite memory from playing golf is when my high school team placed 2nd in State. That was an amazing day for us!
What is one random fact about yourself?
I love reading. Thanks to TikTok!
If you were a golf club, which would you be and why?
Driver, because sometimes it’s a good day, sometimes it’s a bad day.
What is your dream course to play?
Augusta National or Pebble Beach
What is your go-to snack or food to get you “tournament ready”?
Dinner: Spaghetti
Breakfast: IHOP’s Strawberry Banana Pancakes
