Lafayette, Louisiana – The Louisiana Golf Association is excited to welcome Tyler Hodge to the association as the newest USGA P.J. Boatwright Operations Intern for the 2026 season.
Originally from Orlando, Florida, Hodge developed a passion for sports at a young age thanks to his dad, who introduced him to athletics as soon as he could walk. Golf has always been a special part of that relationship, and today Hodge continues to enjoy the game with family and friends.
Tyler recently graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Administration and a minor in Business Administration. During his time at LSU, he served as a Player Personnel Student Assistant for the LSU Football team, gaining valuable experience in collegiate athletics and team operations. In addition to his work at LSU, Tyler has contributed to the Populous Accreditation team at the past two Super Bowls, where he gained firsthand experience working at two of the world's largest sporting events.
Tyler is excited to begin this new chapter with the Louisiana Golf Association and looks forward to contributing to the organization's mission while continuing to grow within the golf industry.
Please join us in welcoming Tyler to the LGA team!
The USGA Boatwright Internship Program is designed to give young professionals the opportunity to gain experience in golf administration and championship operations while working alongside Allied Golf Associations across the country.
