Our September junior golfer to be featured is Logan Batiste III of Slidell. Logan is a rising senior and has been a member of the Louisiana Junior Golf Tour(LJGT) since its inception in 2019.  Here is our Q&A with Logan: **1. What is your favorite golf memory?** My favorite golf memory was meeting Tiger Woods. I met Tiger in 2018 at the PGA Tour Championship at East Lake. After Tiger made the winning putt on hole 18 I waited with kids at a volunteer station to get his autograph.  **2. If you were a golf club, which club would you be and why? ** If I were a golf club, I would be a putter. The reason why is because of three reasons. The first reason why I would want to be a putter is because it is arguably the most important club in the bag. The second reason I would want to be at putting is because the putter is used on 99% of holes. Lastly, 9/10 in pressure situations it comes down to a putt. Those are the reasons I would want to be a putter. The putter is very valuable and is in every bag. **3. What is your dream golf course to play? ** If I had to choose one out of my top 3 I would say Augusta National. A lot of great moments in golf have happened there such as Tiger winning the ‘97 Masters. That helped my love for the course.  **4. Along with yourself, who would be in your ideal golf foursome?**  My foursome would consist of Tiger because he’s the goat, Rory the nice guy from Ireland, Coach Oscar my First Tee coach, and myself.  **5. Favorite PGA or LPGA player?** My favorite player is Tiger Woods. **6. What sport would you play if you did not play golf?** If I didn’t play golf, I would play basketball.  **7. Favorite golf movie?** My favorite movie is Bobby Jones: Strokes of Genius. --- #### Tag: [LJGT](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/ljgt) [LJGT Archives](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/ljgt-archives) #### Share: - [Follow us on Facebook](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https://blog.lgagolf.org/louisiana-junior-golf-spotlight-logan-batiste-iii) - [Follow us on Twitter](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https://blog.lgagolf.org/louisiana-junior-golf-spotlight-logan-batiste-iii&text=Louisiana%20Junior%20Golf%20Spotlight%20–%20Logan%20Batiste%20III) - [Follow us on Linkedin](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https://blog.lgagolf.org/louisiana-junior-golf-spotlight-logan-batiste-iii) - [Follow us on Pinterest](http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/?url=https://blog.lgagolf.org/louisiana-junior-golf-spotlight-logan-batiste-iii&text=Louisiana%20Junior%20Golf%20Spotlight%20–%20Logan%20Batiste%20IIIdescription=September%201,%202021%20–%20Lafayette,%20LA&media=) --- #### [Aaron Pounds & Jack Usner Win Medalist Honors at U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Qualifier Previous Post](https://blog.lgagolf.org/aaron-pounds-jack-usner-win-medalist-honors-at-u-s-amateur-four-ball-qualifier) #### [McWilliams, Knight and Guidry Take Home Honors for LJGT at Querbes Park Next Post](https://blog.lgagolf.org/mcwilliams-knight-and-guidry-take-home-honors-for-ljgt-at-querbes-park) ### Leave a Reply --- ## Related Posts [News Archives](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/news-archives), [LJGT](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/ljgt), [LJGT Archives](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/ljgt-archives) [Admin](https://blog.lgagolf.org/author/admin) 23 March, 2024 #### [Sliman Tied for First After First Round of Lake Charles Spring Classic](https://blog.lgagolf.org/sliman-tied-for-first-after-first-round-of-lake-charles-spring-classic) March 23, 2024 | Maili Bartz [Read More](https://blog.lgagolf.org/sliman-tied-for-first-after-first-round-of-lake-charles-spring-classic) [News Archives](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/news-archives), [LJGT Archives](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/ljgt-archives) [Admin](https://blog.lgagolf.org/author/admin) 30 September, 2023 #### [Benton Boys Tied at the Top after First Round of LJGT Tour Championship](https://blog.lgagolf.org/benton-boys-tied-at-the-top-after-first-round-of-ljgt-tour-championship) September 30, 2023 – Alexandria, Louisiana [Read More](https://blog.lgagolf.org/benton-boys-tied-at-the-top-after-first-round-of-ljgt-tour-championship) [Admin](https://blog.lgagolf.org/author/admin) 16 September, 2023 [News Archives](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/news-archives), [LJGT Archives](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/ljgt-archives) #### [Team Louisiana Takes the Lead After Day One of 2023 Junior River Cup](https://blog.lgagolf.org/team-louisiana-takes-the-lead-after-day-one-of-2023-junior-river-cup) Kye Hanks and Drew Prieto analyze a tee shot from the morning round.
