Our November junior golfer to be featured is Sarah Knight of Sterlington. Sarah is a rising senior at Ouachita Christian School, and has been a member of the Louisiana Junior Golf Tour (LJGT) since its inception in 2019. Sarah won the 2021 Sam Burns Junior Four-Ball with partner Sarah Meral, the LJGT at Querbes Park, and the LJGT Tour Championship. She was also runner-up at the David Toms Championship and the Louisiana Girls’ Junior Championship. All of this helped lead her to be the 2021 LJGT Player of the Year. Sarah has signed to continue her golf journey at the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM) after high school.  Here is our Q&A with Sarah: **What is your favorite golf memory?** My favorite golf memory is definitely the 2021 Sam Burns Four-Ball. Winning it with Sarah Meral was great, and getting all of our families to go eat and hang out made it even better. It was also on my 17th birthday so that was pretty cool. **If you were a golf club, which club would you be and why?** I would definitely be a driver because its my fav in the bag. **What is your dream golf course to play?** I don’t really have a dream golf course to play, but my favorite one is definitely TPC Louisiana because I love alligators, and they are all over the course there. **Along with yourself, who would be in your ideal golf foursome?** Me, Nelly Korda, Jessica Korda, and Lydia Ko. **Favorite PGA or LPGA player?** Nelly Korda 100% **What sport would you play if you did not play golf?** I would play softball and basketball. **Favorite golf movie?** The Legend of Bagger Vance **What are you currently binge-watching?** YOU on Netflix **What is your favorite subject in school?** My favorite subject is math, which is currently statistics. **Favorite quote, golf or non-golf related?** “Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.” – Lucille Ball     --- #### Tag: [LJGT Archives](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/ljgt-archives) #### Share: - [Follow us on Facebook](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https://blog.lgagolf.org/louisiana-junior-golf-spotlight-sarah-knight) - [Follow us on Twitter](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https://blog.lgagolf.org/louisiana-junior-golf-spotlight-sarah-knight&text=Louisiana%20Junior%20Golf%20Spotlight%20–%20Sarah%20Knight) - [Follow us on Linkedin](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https://blog.lgagolf.org/louisiana-junior-golf-spotlight-sarah-knight) - [Follow us on Pinterest](http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/?url=https://blog.lgagolf.org/louisiana-junior-golf-spotlight-sarah-knight&text=Louisiana%20Junior%20Golf%20Spotlight%20–%20Sarah%20Knightdescription=November%205,%202021%20–%20Lafayette,%20LA&media=) --- #### [LOUISIANA GOLF ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES 2022 CHAMPIONSHIP SCHEDULE Previous Post](https://blog.lgagolf.org/2022-schedule-announcement) #### [LGA Prize from 1922 Amateur Recovered Next Post](https://blog.lgagolf.org/lga-prize-from-1922-amateur-recovered) ### Leave a Reply --- ## Related Posts [News Archives](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/news-archives), [LJGT](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/ljgt), [LJGT Archives](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/ljgt-archives) [Admin](https://blog.lgagolf.org/author/admin) 23 March, 2024 #### [Sliman Tied for First After First Round of Lake Charles Spring Classic](https://blog.lgagolf.org/sliman-tied-for-first-after-first-round-of-lake-charles-spring-classic) March 23, 2024 | Maili Bartz [Read More](https://blog.lgagolf.org/sliman-tied-for-first-after-first-round-of-lake-charles-spring-classic) [News Archives](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/news-archives), [LJGT Archives](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/ljgt-archives) [Admin](https://blog.lgagolf.org/author/admin) 30 September, 2023 #### [Benton Boys Tied at the Top after First Round of LJGT Tour Championship](https://blog.lgagolf.org/benton-boys-tied-at-the-top-after-first-round-of-ljgt-tour-championship) September 30, 2023 – Alexandria, Louisiana [Read More](https://blog.lgagolf.org/benton-boys-tied-at-the-top-after-first-round-of-ljgt-tour-championship) [Admin](https://blog.lgagolf.org/author/admin) 16 September, 2023 [News Archives](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/news-archives), [LJGT Archives](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/ljgt-archives) #### [Team Louisiana Takes the Lead After Day One of 2023 Junior River Cup](https://blog.lgagolf.org/team-louisiana-takes-the-lead-after-day-one-of-2023-junior-river-cup) Kye Hanks and Drew Prieto analyze a tee shot from the morning round.
