The $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually to a deserving female high school senior who plans to attend college and participate in golf. The Batti family established the scholarship to honor golf in Louisiana and help young female golfers in their higher education. The Scholarship will be presented on July 9, 2019 at the LGA Girls’ Junior Amateur Pre-Championship dinner at Bayou Oaks at City Park (South Course) in New Orleans. Boudreau graduated from Academy of Our Lady High School in May, and she will continue her education and golf career at the University of Nebraska Omaha this fall. “I am so honored to be chosen as the recipient of the LGA Batti Scholarship. The LWGA and now the LGA have provided me and my peers with a chance to compete at very high level on amazing courses while staying close to home. Those opportunities created exposure and prepared me well for the next level, and I cannot thank them enough. The funds will help me achieve my goal of becoming an airline pilot so the sky is quite literally the limit,” said Boudreau. Established in 1920, The Louisiana Golf Association is a non-profit, membership organization dedicated to fostering the enhancement and expansion of amateur golf through the development of member and information services, the promotion of opportunities for all who want to play, and the protection of the game’s integrity and valued traditions.  The LGA’s membership is comprised of approximately 90 Member Clubs and 14,000 individual members.  The LGA is licensed by the United States Golf Association as the “Allied Golf Association” of record for the state of Louisiana. --- #### Tag: [News](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/news) #### Share: - [Follow us on Facebook](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https://blog.lgagolf.org/madeline-boudreau-named-as-2019-dick-and-linda-batti-scholarship-recipient) - [Follow us on Twitter](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https://blog.lgagolf.org/madeline-boudreau-named-as-2019-dick-and-linda-batti-scholarship-recipient&text=MADELINE%20BOUDREAU%20NAMED%20AS%202019%20DICK%20AND%20LINDA%20BATTI%20SCHOLARSHIP%20RECIPIENT) - [Follow us on Linkedin](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https://blog.lgagolf.org/madeline-boudreau-named-as-2019-dick-and-linda-batti-scholarship-recipient) - [Follow us on Pinterest](http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/?url=https://blog.lgagolf.org/madeline-boudreau-named-as-2019-dick-and-linda-batti-scholarship-recipient&text=MADELINE%20BOUDREAU%20NAMED%20AS%202019%20DICK%20AND%20LINDA%20BATTI%20SCHOLARSHIP%20RECIPIENTdescription=July%201,%202019%20Lafayette,%20Louisiana&media=) --- #### [ALDEN WALLACE WINS 91st LOUISIANA WOMEN’S AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP Previous Post](https://blog.lgagolf.org/alden-wallace-wins-91st-louisiana-womens-amateur-championship) #### [ANDY LOPEZ AND CHARLIE FLYNN QUALIFY FOR 119th UNITED STATES AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP Next Post](https://blog.lgagolf.org/andy-lopez-and-charlie-flynn-qualify-for-119th-united-states-amateur-championship) ### Leave a Reply --- ## Related Posts [News](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/news) [Maili Bartz](https://blog.lgagolf.org/author/maili-bartz) 18 August, 2025 #### [A Hole-in-One?
