Origin Bank’s unwavering commitment to fostering local relationships and elevating the game of golf and the future of junior players in Louisiana makes Origin a key partner for this prestigious event. Their dedication to changing perceptions and becoming life changers in the communities they serve aligns seamlessly with the LJGT’s mission to provide exceptional opportunities for junior golfers across the state.  The LJGT first conducted the Sam Burns Junior Four-Ball Championship in 2019, the same year the LJGT was established. Squire Creek Country Club has been the host site since 2019. General Manager Rick Maier and staff, along with Squire Creek’s state of the art facilities and golf course, provide a first class experience for LJGT members across the region.  “Origin is honored to partner with the Louisiana Junior Golf Tour and Sam Burns in this incredible event which provides such an opportunity to so many young people throughout our region,” said Lance Hall, President and CEO of Origin Bank. “Having been personally involved with junior golf, I have seen first-hand the many life lessons that can be applied that will provide value to these young people for years to come.”  The LJGT, known for its commitment to promoting and developing junior golf, views Origin Bank’s sponsorship as a significant step in enhancing the championship’s success. This partnership will create an even better platform to showcase the remarkable talent and sportsmanship of young golfers in Louisiana. A portion of the funds donated by Origin Bank will go towards scholarships to help raise funds to provide scholarships to LJGT members. “The Louisiana Junior Golf Tour and Louisiana Golf Association could not be more excited to be partnering with Origin Bank for the Sam Burns Junior Four Ball Championship hosted by Sam Burns and Squire Creek Country Club,” said LGA Director of Junior Golf, Jake Norris. “With Origin’s already established relationship with Sam, Squire Creek, and their well-respected community/region support, it felt like a perfect fit for Origin Bank to come aboard. This sponsorship will without a doubt help further improve this championship and help give back to the junior golfers in Louisiana and surrounding regions.” Origin Bank’s sponsorship of the 2024 Sam Burns Junior Four-Ball Championship is a testament to their dedication to community impact and supporting the development of young athletes’ future. --- **For media inquiries or more information, please contact:** Maili Bartz Director of Marketing and Communications maili@lgagolf.org ### **About Origin Bank:** ### Origin Bank, established in 1912, is a financial institution deeply rooted in community service.
