It was an incredible weekend for the season finale of the 2023 Louisiana Junior Golf Tour (LJGT). The best and brightest junior golfers in Louisiana competed in the Tour Championship to determine who would win Player of the Year honors in a wonderful celebration of the promising future of golf in our state. Hudson Greene of Shreveport took home the 11-13 Boys’ Tour Championship title firing a one-under par, 71 for his final round. Greene’s solid round consisted of two birdies and one bogey. Crew Galambos of Shreveport shot rounds 73 and 74 to finish in 2nd place, seven shots behind Greene. Vivian Volion of Springfield claimed her first championship title this season carding rounds of 76-73 (149) to win the Girls’ LJGT Tour Championship by two strokes over Teagan Connors of New Orleans Volion made six birdies over the course of 36 holes en route to her first LJGT victory. This should be a huge boost of confidence for the class of 2025 player as she goes into next season. In the 14-18 Overall Boys’ division, the Louisiana Junior Golf Tour Championship witnessed an intense battle. Cason Toms and Kade Bryant, hailing from Benton, remained in a neck-and-neck competition throughout the tournament. The stakes were raised when Will Porter of Monroe eagled hole 17, briefly claiming the lead. However, the climax arrived at the final group’s appearance on hole 18, featuring Kade Bryant, Cason Toms (Benton), and Dax Reaux (Breaux Bridge). Bryant stepped up to the tee and delivered an unforgettable walk-off hole-in-one. This remarkable feat not only secured his victory in the 2023 LJGT Tour Championship but also positioned him as a front-runner for the LJGT Player of the Year title. Kade Bryant concluded the championship with a remarkable 5-under par performance, shooting 70 and 69. He achieved eight birdies, five bogeys, and, of course, the highlight of the day, his prestigious hole-in-one. Bryant’s extraordinary finish will be etched in the memories of many. Hole 18, a par 3 at Links on the Bayou, measuring 176 yards, became the stage for this dramatic moment. Cason Toms and Will Porter, both finishing at 3-under par, shared the second-place honors in this thrilling tournament Kye Hanks of Lake Charles won the Boys’ 15 and Under Division at five-over par, shooting a 72 in his final round. Finishing in second place was Riggs Ryan of Lafayette at six-over par, and Meyer Schopp of Broussard finished in third at seven-over par. --- #### Tag: [LJGT](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/ljgt) [News](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/news) #### Share: - [Follow us on Facebook](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https://blog.lgagolf.org/porter-volion-and-greene-win-2023-ljgt-tour-championship) - [Follow us on Twitter](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https://blog.lgagolf.org/porter-volion-and-greene-win-2023-ljgt-tour-championship&text=Bryant,%20Volion,%20and%20Greene%20Win%202023%20LJGT%20Tour%20Championship) - [Follow us on Linkedin](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https://blog.lgagolf.org/porter-volion-and-greene-win-2023-ljgt-tour-championship) - [Follow us on Pinterest](http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/?url=https://blog.lgagolf.org/porter-volion-and-greene-win-2023-ljgt-tour-championship&text=Bryant,%20Volion,%20and%20Greene%20Win%202023%20LJGT%20Tour%20Championshipdescription=October%201,%202023%20–%20Alexandria,%20Louisiana&media=https://23548262.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/23548262/Imported_Blog_Media/Press-Release-Images-19.png) --- #### [Benton Boys Tied at the Top after First Round of LJGT Tour Championship Previous Post](https://blog.lgagolf.org/benton-boys-tied-at-the-top-after-first-round-of-ljgt-tour-championship) #### [2023 LOUISIANA JUNIOR PLAYERS OF THE YEAR ANNOUNCED Next Post](https://blog.lgagolf.org/2023-louisiana-junior-players-of-the-year-announced) ### Leave a Reply --- ## Related Posts [News](https://blog.lgagolf.org/tag/news) [Maili Bartz](https://blog.lgagolf.org/author/maili-bartz) 18 August, 2025 #### [A Hole-in-One?
