Three Golf Courses Return to LGA Member Club Roster

The Louisiana Golf Association (LGA) is proud to welcome back three golf courses to our growing network of member clubs:

  • Coushatta Country Club (Coushatta)
  • Jackson Parish Golf Course (Jonesboro)
  • Springhill Country Club (Sarepta/Springhill)

Each course features a 9-hole layout with an 18-hole rotation, and all now support score posting through the GHIN platform. If you live near one of these facilities and aren't yet an LGA member, consider joining through them to enjoy full member benefits.

Coushatta Country Club

Previously an LGA member from 2012–2014, Coushatta CC opened in 1970 and is located off I-49 at exit 162. It offers a classic 9-hole layout characterized by small greens and natural design. The opening hole is a long par 3 (190–155 yards) that sets a challenging tone. Hole 8/17 is a short par 4 (322–275 yards) requiring strategic placement due to a fairway ditch and a massive oak guarding the green. Call (318) 932-5924 for tee times. An honor pay box is available for play before or after clubhouse hours—an ode to golf’s traditions.

Jackson Parish Golf Course

A member club from 2014–2015, this course opened in 1971 and sits beside a scenic fishing lake. With small greens, elevation changes, and strategic holes, it's ideal for both golfers and outdoorsmen. The signature hole is 6/15—a 360–275 yard par 4 requiring a precision tee shot through a tree-lined chute to a downhill fairway that feeds into a hidden retention pond. The uphill approach leads to a tabletop green. For more information, call (318) 259-7247.

Springhill Country Club

Returning after nearly 30 years (last a member in 1996), Springhill CC dates back to 1930. This tree-lined course is framed by tall pines on nearly every hole. The par-5 5th/14th appears straightforward but punishes errant shots with a pinball effect through the trees. Like Coushatta, Springhill opens with a par 3—this one 150–125 yards over water. Call (318) 994-3134 for tee times.

We’re excited to have these facilities back in the LGA family for 2025. If your travels take you nearby, stop in and enjoy a quick 9! All LGA member clubs are afforded numerous benefits that help them elevate the golfer experience at their facilities.  Visit our Member Club Benefits page for more information, here.
