The 43rd Louisiana Four-Ball Championship came down to the final holes, with several teams in contention before Kyle Traub and Niel Phillips secured the title with a championship score of 16-under-par (128).
Traub and Phillips put together an outstanding round, recording eight birdies and an eagle, highlighted by Traub's eagle on the 16th hole. Their consistent play throughout the day pushed them to the top. Dwayne Landry and Austin Rose finished in second place at 15-under par, ending their round with a birdie on the 18th hole after recording nine team birdies.
After sharing the lead during the final round, Carter Schmitt and David Marsh finished third at 14-under par. The duo also carded nine birdies in their final round.
Rounding out the top five, Nick Kelsey and Joshua Achord finished fourth at 13-under par. Brandt Garon and Stanley Watts Jr. also posted 13-under par but were awarded fifth place following a scorecard playoff.
Ethan Marx and Ben Chaisson won the 1st Flight after shooting an impressive round of -7 for a two-round total of -8. Scott Sterbcow and Wiggins Edrington finished in second place with rounds of 71- 68. Walt Sartor and Drew LaBorde finished in third place after winning a scorecard playoff with rounds of 72-68.
Congratulations to all of this year's competitors and a special congratulations to our 2026 Champions, Kyle Traub and Niel Phillips, on an exceptional performance. The golf course was in amazing condition, and the new paspalum greens were rolling fast and true.
