Lafayette, LA - The 42nd Louisiana Four-Ball Championship is set for July 19–20 at English Turn Golf & Country Club in New Orleans, where a record 96 teams will tee it up in pursuit of one of the most sought-after amateur titles in the state.

The Jack Nicklaus designed English Turn has long been a staple in Louisiana golf, known for its strategic layout, numerous penalty areas, and PGA Tour pedigree. The course last hosted the Four-Ball in 2017, and its return to the championship schedule has been met with anticipation. Seth Dufrene and Justin Lowe won the 2017 Championship after shooting 64-67 (131).

2023 champions Kyle and Brady Bennett are back in the field after capturing their previous title with a blistering 17-under par performance. Their chemistry and aggressive style make them legitimate threats to win again.

Also returning are two-time champions Greg Berthelot and Kyle Williams. After victories in 2011 and 2020, they are aiming to become the first team in championship history to win a third title. With proven success and years of partnership, they remain a formidable presence.

But the field is deep, and the margin for error is slim. With just 36 holes to separate contenders from champions, execution, resilience, and lots of birdies will be the deciding factors. English Turn demands precision, and the forecast hints at unpredictable conditions that could shake things up.

Competition begins Saturday morning at 7:30 AM off # 1 and # 10 tees, and play will conclude Sunday afternoon when one team will hoist the trophy and add its name to the history books.
