Lake Charles, LA - Three players qualified today for the 2026 U.S Mid-Amateur following a competitive qualifying round at Graywood Golf and Racquet Club in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Jonathan Fricke of Destin, Florida, led with an impressive 6-under-par 66 to earn medalist honors. Joining him will be Jonathan Jeter of New Orleans, Louisiana and Logan Rawson of Elberta, Alabama who finished T2 at 5-under-par 67. Jeter and Rawson battled it out on the first playoff hole carding pars (4 on 18th) against John Humphries and Logan Boatner. Humphries and Boatner went head-to-head for the 1st and 2nd alternate spots, Humphries made birdie giving him the 1st alternate spot, leaving Boatner the second alternate.
