Eli Hart & Tina Chin-Griffin Capture Titles at 27th Louisiana Net Amateur Championship

SHREVEPORT, La. — August 23, 2026

The 27th Louisiana Net Amateur Championship and The 9th Louisiana Women's Net Amateur Championship concluded Sunday at Querbes Golf Course in Shreveport, bringing two days of competition to a close as players competed for the men’s and women’s titles. The championship began Saturday, August 22, with the final round taking place Sunday, August 23. Players competed throughout the weekend at Querbes Golf Course, with the championship featuring both men’s and women’s divisions as well as three men’s flights.

In the men’s championship division, Eli Hart of Shreveport claimed the title with a two-round score of 7-under par. Hart, the youngest player in the field, got off to an incredible start by making an eagle on his very first hole of the tournament. Hart finished ahead of Rawlis Leslie of Bossier City, who finished at 5-under par. Robin DeLoach of Breaux Bridge rounded out the top three with a score of 4-over par.

In the women’s division, part of the 9th Louisiana Women’s Net Amateur Championship, Tina Chin-Griffin of Port Allen captured the championship after finishing at 7-over par. April Prestenbach of Baton Rouge finished runner-up at 12-over par, while Nancy Knapp of Baton Rouge placed third at 18-over par.

The men’s field was also divided into three flights: the St. Andrews Flight, Troon Flight and Carnoustie Flight.

In the St. Andrews Flight, Jay Binderim of Benton claimed first place. Scott Harper of Shreveport finished runner-up after a scorecard playoff, while Daniel Page of Winnfield finished third. In the Troon Flight, Clyde Dornier of Metairie earned first place, followed by Charles Manuel of Slaughter in second. Kevin Augustine of Sulphur finished third after a scorecard playoff. The Carnoustie Flight saw Stephen Dabkowski of Bossier City take first place following a scorecard playoff. Julius Courville of Lake Charles finished runner-up, while Alan Swensen of Stonewall earned third place following a scorecard playoff.

The 27th Louisiana Net Amateur Championship brought players from across Louisiana together for a weekend of competition at Querbes Golf Course, with Hart and Chin-Griffin finishing as this year’s men’s and women’s champions.
