Julie Harrison of Baton Rouge won her fifth straight and eighth overall Women’s Senior Amateur Championship on Friday at Southern Trace Country Club. Harrison shot rounds of 75-76 despite the wet playing conditions. Mary Lynn Stuart of Shreveport won the Super Senior Division (65+) for the second consecutive year over Nancy Young of Shreveport. Julia McKey of Slaughter won the Grand Super Senior Division (70+) for the second consecutive year over Moise Allen of Shreveport.

Southern Trace Country Club is in excellent condition and played to a par 72 at 5,217 yards.
